Russia warns more strikes on Kyiv in retaliation to Ukrainian missile attack

Russia's defense ministry said it will increase assaults on Kyiv in reaction to Ukrainian airstrikes on the Russian facility.
Kyiv heard powerful explosions on Friday that seemed to be among the most significant since Russian soldiers withdrew from the area earlier this month, Reuters reported.

The explosions were reported soon after the Russian fleet's flagship in the Black Sea sunk due to a fire that the Ukraine claims was caused by a missile strike.
"The number and scale of missile strikes on targets in Kyiv will increase in response to any terrorist attacks or acts of sabotage on Russian territory committed by the Kyiv nationalist regime," the defense ministry said in a statement.
