Biden pledges $800 million in military support to Ukraine
US will provide heavy artillery, dozens of howitzers, and 144,000 rounds of ammunition

US President Joe Biden pledged on Thursday another $800 million to help Ukraine as Russia intensifies attacks in the east of the Donbas region.
US will provide heavy artillery, dozens of howitzers, and 144,000 rounds of ammunition, as well as tactical drones to Ukraine, said Biden.
Biden also said that he plans to ask Congress for more funding next week.
He said that the US and its allies “are moving as fast as possible” to continue to provide Ukraine the weapons they need to defend their nation.
