Ukraine is at the top of the agenda for the world's business and political elite meeting in Davos, Switzerland, which begins on Monday.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will speak on Monday via video at the World Economic Forum in Davos, while Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko is slated to attend in person.
“This is the world’s most influential economic platform where Ukraine has something to say,” Zelenskyy said in his Sunday night video address.
“There will be other public speeches during the week, including an address to the Stanford University community. As well as a special format of communication with the political and expert communities of Indonesia,” he said.
More than 50 heads of state and government are scheduled to attend the annual gathering, which usually takes place in January, but this year will take place in the summer.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) said that the topic of the 2022 Annual Meeting will be "history at a turning point."
Meanwhile, there will be no Russian officials, businesspeople, or intellectuals present in the meeting.
This year, Ukrainian artists converted space on Davos main street into a Russian War Crimes House, depicting scenes of agony and devastation.
