Facebook-parent Meta Platforms to trade under 'META' ticker from June 9
Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: FB) on Tuesday said its Class A common stock would begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol 'META' before the market opens on June 9, which would replace its current ticker symbol 'FB'

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: FB) on Tuesday said its Class A common stock would begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol 'META' before the market opens on June 9, which would replace its current ticker symbol 'FB'.
The social media giant changed its name from Facebook Inc to Meta Platform Inc in October last year, which oversees all of its products, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Oculus.
