Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign minister of Ukraine, urged the G-7 and the EU to discontinue granting visas to Russian citizens.
“I call on all EU and G7 states to stop issuing visas to Russians,” Kuleba wrote in a tweet. “President @ZelenskyyUa is absolutely right to insist on this.”
“Russians overwhelmingly support the war on Ukraine. They must be deprived of the right to cross international borders until they learn to respect them,” he said.
Earlier on Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the only way to stop Russia from colonizing any more of Ukraine's land, is for Western nations to ban all Russian citizens, The Washington Post reported.
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, on Feb 24 launched a "special military operation" in Ukraine.
