FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX) on Friday sued one of its largest delivery contractors in the US for disparaging the delivery giant.
The company filed a lawsuit in US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee against its contractor Spencer Patton.
According to the lawsuit, Patton hosted a conference for FedEx contractors to promote his own consultancy.
FedEx said than Patton is asking contractors to renegotiate their contracts to boost his own consultancy.
Patton is attempting to disrupt FedEx’s operations on Black Friday, the company added.
