John D. Wren

Mr. Wren is President and Chief Executive Officer of Omnicom ( OMC ) a position he has held since January 1997. He was elected President in 1996 and named Chief Executive Officer in 1997. Under his direction, Omnicom has become one of the largest advertising, marketing and corporate communications companies in the world. Mr. Wren entered the advertising business in 1984, joining Needham Harper Worldwide as an executive vice president. As part of the team that created Omnicom in 1986, 

he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services division in 1990. In that position, he grew Diversified Agency Services into Omnicom’s largest operating group, comprised of companies in a wide array of disciplines ranging from public relations to branding
