Laura L. Prieskorn

Laura Prieskorn is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Jackson Financial, Inc.

Laura Prieskorn is responsible for executing Jackson’s mission of helping more Americans approaching retirement achieve financial freedom for life by ensuring Jackson associates, resources and capabilities are aligned to drive financial and operational excellence and create sustainable value for all company stakeholders. In her 31 years at Jackson, Laura has held broad-ranging leadership roles including as a member of the company’s Executive, Investment and Product Committees. She was appointed to her current role in February 2021.

 Most recently, Laura served as Jackson’s executive vice president and chief operating officer where she led Jackson’s operations, technology and information security initiatives and was responsible for developing Jackson’s industry-leading operating platform, which combines low cost with superior service for clients, advisors and distribution partners. Under her leadership as chief operating officer, Jackson transformed into a more agile organization and was awarded as Service Quality Measurement Group, Inc.’s “Contact Center of the Year” in 2019 and 2020.

 Laura also made significant contributions to Jackson’s increased cyber security efforts, provided critical leadership of Jackson’s budget planning process and strategic roadmap alignment initiatives, directed Jackson’s COVID-19 response plan as the business continuity management Incident Commander and led Jackson’s future state of work strategy and implementation. In addition, her oversight of the vendor management and purchasing functions resulted in a more cost-effective use of company resources.

Before her promotion to chief operating officer in 2019, Laura served in a variety of increasingly senior positions across Jackson’s information technology and operations divisions, including assistant vice president of operations technology support, vice president of information technology as well as senior vice president and chief administrative officer.
