Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ: SBUX) Chief Operating Officer John Culver is leaving the company after being a part of the coffee chain for two decades.
Culver will officially step down from his position on October 3 and will become an executive advisor until he leaves the company at the end of the year.
As part of restructuring of the company, the position of COO will be removed and the responsibilities will be distributed between interim CEO Howard Schultz and Frank Britt, the company’s chief strategy and transformation officer.
